Sierra Roof Inc. is looking for a Crew Coordinator who will be assisting the Production Department. This position is an opportunity for someone who meets the below requirements and desires to learn and grow within the company. Job Summary: The Crew Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, scheduling, supervising, and inspecting the work of skilled roofers and trade personnel. This includes site visits, which require the ability to climb up/down ladders or scaffolding, read plans, complete paperwork, enter data, and communicate in a professional and efficient manner with customers, crews, builders, and all levels of office staff. The ideal candidate must be proactive, accurate, focused, responsible, organized, task and completion oriented, punctual, flexible, and a team player. The role requires good planning and management skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, including bilingual English/Spanish and the ability to build strong relationships. Duties/Responsibilities: Quality control management, monitor and inspect quality of work on all active projects Live, promote, and enforce safety Maintains a clean and organized work site Ability to professionally communicate with customers, employees and management staff Maintaining and organizing specific shared files and its specific correspondence. Ordering materials and scheduling deliveries Assist and coordinate with schedule Oversee job activities and process; Monitor work progress and meet deadlines Skilled in planning, strategy, and negotiations Visiting job sites in the greater Los Angeles, Riverside and Orange County daily Attending weekly meetings at company headquarters. Required Skills/Abilities: Must be able to work Tuesday to Saturday 7am- 5pm Must be Bilingual (English/Spanish) with excellent verbal and written communication skills Must have clean driving record - you will be driving company vehicle (we will check driver’s record) must provide DMV record Must have computer experience (Knowledge of Microsoft Office: Excel, Word. Google sheets) Must be able to follow directions with minimal supervision Must follow company safety guidelines Must have the ability to do physical labor Scheduling experience (preferred) Able to manage multiple projects daily Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to follow all written and verbal policies, procedures, and instructions that are implemented by Management Problem-solving skills- fast decision/assertions Strong organizational skills Able to insert order materials into an electronic ordering system Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50lbs Able to climb up/down ladders or scaffolding onto roofs daily Education / Experience High School Diploma or equivalent 2 years of general construction experience Construction/ Roofing or similar combined experience: 3-5 years (Required) Salary: Depending on experience: $900 - $1,000 weekly salary- Negotiable License/Certification: Driver's License (Required) ***Apply in person at 515 S.
