Small mail order/ecommerce business located in Cedar Grove, NJ seeks a full time Shipping Department Associate. This is a Monday through Friday daytime position. Associate will be involved in all aspects of Shipping Department, and also assist with manufacturing and packaging of compact disc products. Primary responsibilities include: Pick and pack of customer orders Shipping of customer orders Packaging of products to be sold Receiving incoming merchandise deliveries Stocking shelves Counting inventory Processing customer returns Assisting with delivery of packages to post office Maintenance and organization of working area Duplication, printing and packaging of CD products (we will train) Skills required for position include: Ability to stand or walk for much of your working shift Attention to detail and accuracy Regular lifting of up to 5 pounds and occasional moving and lifting of cartons up to 50 pounds. Ability to climb ladders Good command of English language Ability to keep an organized and clean work environment Timely work habits Data entry skill a plus Please email us your background experience and/or resume for consideration.
