Our installer will work with hand and power tools on a regular basis. This role requires collaboration between custom and flagpole department teams daily. Our ideal candidate will ensure accuracy and timely completion of projects, work efficiently and independently on the job site. The Installer is responsible for quality control and ensuring zero defects on the final product. This job requires travel in company supplied vehicle around WNY. Job does require a clean and valid NYS driver's license. Position is mainly completed outdoors in various weather conditions. What is the job? Timely and efficient service and installation of flagpoles & signage to company standards. Building and grounds keeping on an as needed basis to ensure building safety, organization and cleanliness. The Ace Flag Installer is a mechanically inclined individual who is capable of installing (and repairing) flagpoles, interior and exterior signage, architectural signage and vinyl graphics according to company standards and expectations. Compliance with all safety and OSHA standards and delivery of the highest quality of customer service possible. OTHER EXPECTATIONS: -Clean Driver’s License must be maintained in order to retain this position. The installer will be using company supplied vehicle on a daily basis -Adhere to all OSHA safety standards at all times -Manual labor required, lifting 40lbs on a regular basis -Communicate issues and concerns to Department Head in a timely manner -Ability to successfully pass a background check, physical and drug screening Competencies & Qualification Effective time management skills Ability to work independently with limited input Complex Problem solving skills Good written and oral communications skills Exceptional people skills Highly Organized Ability to operate bobcat/machinery Ability to operate 40 foot bucket truck Proficiency with hand and power tools required Positive "can-do" attitude Ability to lift more than 40 pounds on a frequent basis Travel within WNY area and Rochester is required Position is not remote Willingness to learn other jobs in the company to better understand company goals Flexibility with schedule as needed to the job requirements Job Type: Full-time
