If you are just learning to play or want to learn to play the violin I will be glad to spend the time to help you get you started. This is a beautiful full size (4/4) instrument with a deluxe case that has been completely adjusted and set up ready to play. It has been very gently played and has been very well cared for. It is made from all solid woods. This instrument is not laminated. The select spruce top has been hand carved and graduated to produce the maximum tone. The sides, back and neck are made from hard maple (back is hand carved and graduated). The back is highly figured (see pictures). Both the front and the back have hand inlaid purfling (multi layers of decorative wood). The tuning pegs, chin rest and finger board are wood (not plastic!). There are NO flaws such as cracks, breaks or any other repairs that have been done to this instrument. Everything has been done to make this violin play and sound it's best. It has a deep, rich tone with a big projecting voice. The bow is a new, real wood/horsehair bow (no plastic!). The bow has been rosined and is ready to play. This would be perfect for the beginner are advanced player who is looking for a nice solid, carved wood instrument with a beautiful tone. The case is a custom fit, plush lined. professional model with adjustable shoulder straps. It is light weight but very sturdy. It comes with shoulder straps and two pockets on the inside for accessories. Inside the case is a very sensitive hygrometer for monitoring the humidity. Outside the case is a large sheet music pocket for all of your performing materials. When you come to see it I will be glad to play it for you if you don't play yourself. The price is $185 firm however I can sell it for $20 less with the different case. It's a new case just not as fancy as the one pictured.
