Flagler Beach Ocean Rescue and the non-profit organization Debris Free Oceans are teaming up for a Beach Clean-Up on Saturday, March 26th! The City of Flagler Beach’s Ocean Rescue Lifeguards and the Miami-based non-profit organization Debris Free Oceans are teaming up to rescue our oceans! Come on out to the Flagler Beach Municipal Fishing Pier on Saturday, March 26th at 9:00A.M. for a beach clean up led by Flagler Beach Ocean Rescue’s beach lifeguards. Clean up supplies will be provided. This event will provide attendees with information on Flagler Beach Ocean Rescue and its operations as a first responder agency of the City of Flagler Beach, a demonstration on water-safety, as well as how you as an individual can help to combat the plastic pollution problem occurring in our oceans. Please bring sun protection (mineral-based, reef-safe sunscreen is reccomended!), water, close-toed shoes, and a can-do attitude! PLEASE RSVP via EventBrite.
