SCCF-led walking tours focused on Sanibel & Captiva's unique natural features. Are you a new property owner on Sanibel or Captiva? Or would you like to learn about what makes our islands special? Join SCCF on a walking tour to hear about the features that have shaped a conservation success story. Learn about unique plants and animals, conservation history, and current challenges in keeping the islands as a sanctuary. A $5 donation is suggested. Meet at the kiosk at the western entrance of the Shipley Trail at the Bailey Homestead Preserve (1300 Periwinkle Way). Please note: Due to the current Covid surge, masking will be required at this outdoor event. Covid vaccinations and social distancing are strongly encouraged. If you are feeling sick or experiencing any symptoms , please do not attend the walk.
