Birders of all levels welcome! Join us on a car-based caravan tour of the birds of J. N. "Ding" Darling NWR. *All tours are led outside, but if 6 feet can not be maintained while the tour is conducted, masks are required by all participants. By signing up for this tour, you are adhering to wearing a mask while on the tour. *Tours will not be conducted if guidelines are not met by all participants and the guide has the right to terminate the tour if deemed unsafe. Birders of all levels will join a naturalists on a car caravan tour along the Wildlife Drive. Meet at the flagpole in front of the Visitor and Education Center to begin your bird identification tour. Arrive before 8:20am to check-in and confirm your attendance. If not confirmed by 8:20am, your spot can be given away. This tour is limited to 10 individuals. All participants must be registered, even if riding in the same vehicles. Please bring your own binoculars and scopes. Once all participates arrive, all will follow the naturalist into the drive with free entrance for the tour (no free re-entry). This tour is scheduled for 1 1/2- 2 hours but feel free to leave when you've had your bird fill!
