Commonplace Books in partnership w/ Mack & Ike’s Bar in Guthrie will be hosting a Vintage Vinyl Popup Bar on the Final Friday of every month. What’s a Vintage Vinyl Popup Bar you ask? It’s as simple and AWESOME as it sounds: Our friend and fellow patron Noah Engh will be spinning jazz & blues records for a couple of hours while the guest bartenders will be mixing specialty cocktails, pouring great wines, and crackin’ open some beers. We’ll have charcuterie boards available that night as well to knock the hunger edge off and keep the party rollin’. Please signup for a ticket so we know you’re coming and make a donation in lieu of a ticket price. Your donation will offset the overall cost, support local art, pay the DJ, and help keep the bookstore sustainable and strong for the long haul. Drinks will be served on a complimentary basis to those with tickets. All ages are welcome but must be 21 to partake. We’ll have some simple nonalcoholic options as well.
