Description

Press release from the City of Beaverton: July 16, 2020 The City of Beaverton will extend its previously announced closure period through at least Sunday, August 16. The latest extension is in response to increases in reported COVID-19 cases at both the state and county levels, and in the best interest of the health and safety of staff and visitors. The city will continue to provide most services remotely by phone or online and keep buildings closed to the public for in-person visits. Some services may begin in-person visits sooner, with distancing and other safeguards in place. Beaverton Municipal Court has reopened in a very limited capacity for specific instances when remote technology is not accessible, and passport services are available at The Beaverton Building by appointment. Beaverton City Library is now offering contactless curbside pickup service at the main library, and book drops at the main library and the Murray Scholls branch are open to receive returns. Visit www.BeavertonOregon.gov/corona... for the latest information on available city services, virtual meetings, upcoming events, and other activities.
