Join DC Area Educators for Social Justice & EmpowerEd for a night to celebrate the power of Black educators in the DMV + great food & drink! Educators may sign up in advance to be one of our ten story tellers who will share their powerful stories on the impact and challenges of Black educators in the DC area. Educators will tell stories that both illuminate the challenges facing Black educators and celebrate the tremendous influence and positive impact Black educators have every day in our schools. Appetizers are on us and plenty of great additional food and drink options at the great Tsehay Ethiopian Restaurant and Bar in Petworth- by the Georgia Ave. metro.
