A day of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion showcasing the regions colorful world of makers, creators, artist and those everywhere in between. Beer is for Everyone! Join the Beerdashian, Brew Godz and Brewmashers in support of Lifting Lucy as we take over Peabody Heights Brewing and work together to raise everyone ALL THE WAY UP! A day of music, art, food, makers, shakers, entertainers, influencers and just good people sharing a pint of locally made delicious beer. This event is FREE and open to EVERYONE! DJ spinning, meet and greet with PoC working in various roles in the craft beer industry. Her material combining social commentary, geek culture, and even a few strange sound effects. When she's not here, you can catch her performing at your local anime, board game or sci-fi convention. Host: Chris Lawrence is a Baltimore-area comedian who has been entertaining crowds off and on for 20 years. He has performed at clubs and venues all over the country. His act focuses on his foibles as he lives his days as a husband and dad. You'll hear reflections on his misteps with a heavy dose of pop-culture references. Features: Blaire Postman is a high energy, down-the-rabbit-hole stand-up comedian with no chill. Her unexpected material includes tales of living with recovering alcoholics and the history of Super Bowl half time shows. Feature: Amber Singletary is a comedian and actress based in Baltimore, MD. Before beginning her comedy journey Amber was getting her master’s degree and ending her life-long basketball career. When she realized that making jokes and talking about social issues on the sidelines wouldn’t be enough she decided to get on the mic. Amber has done standup all over the DMV, New York and Los Angeles. She runs a monthly showcase at Dovecote Café in Baltimore, where she showcases local talent. She hopes to continue to break down barriers for women and especially women of color while simultaneously telling crowds of strangers about the world through her eyes. Feature: Christian McCartney is an animated, energetic, and entertaining comedian. He recently placed 2nd in the Magooby’s 2021 New Comedian of the year competition. Christian has amassed more than 3.3 million followers on TikTok, from around the world. He also co-hosts Baltimore’s own Motor House open mic every Wednesday night. His numerous voices and body contortions make him a must watch act. He is an unashamed follower of Jesus Christ and shows this by ending every show by giving glory to God. Feature: Mike Quindlen (producer of this very show) lives in Baltimore, but is from Philadelphia. He has opened for Rich Vos, J.B. Smoove, Alonzo Bodden, the late John Weatherspoon, Doug Stanhope and a few other legends. Mike is also the founder and creative director of the Ellicott Silly Comedy Festival.
