Press release from the City of Beaverton: October 1, 2020 BEAVERTON, Ore. – The Beaverton Committee for Community Involvement (BCCI) will host a live virtual Voters' Forum on Wednesday, October 14 beginning at 7 p.m. The event will be presented online at www.BeavertonOregon.gov/Voters... or on Tualatin Valley Community Television (TVCTV) channels 30 (English) and 28 (Spanish). "Elections are important and the best way to get your voice heard is to vote, it is a privilege and a right," noted BCCI member Bintu Foday Kemokai. "Politics affect our everyday life, therefore it is of great significance for every person to have a say. Our forum provides a great opportunity to hear the issues discussed that are important to Beaverton residents." Attendees are encouraged to ask the candidates questions. Online submissions will be accepted by October 7. Questions should be directed to all candidates for a given position.
