Make your toys come to life! Bring a favorite toy or object from home and give them life using easy-to-use stop-motion techniques
Using simple props and lighting, animator Joseph Sullivan will help participants make short animations with toys and items brought from home, teaching them how to set up and capture stop-motion frames using a simple mobile app. We’ll be making the animations one at a time, so don’t worry if you don’t know what or how to animate. There will be plenty of time to watch the animation process and think of what you want to animate!
Bio: Joseph Sullivan is a multimedia artist from Massachusetts whose work is often loose, fun, and driven by strange yet lovable characters. He graduated from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design in 2020 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Animation.
