Join North Shore Juneteenth Association at our 5th Annual Hats & Heels Tea! We are bringing you healing discussion, cultural food, & more! This year's Hats & Heels Tea is healing centric. Our theme is Reflect, Rest, Rejuvenate, Resist. These past few years have been challenging for us all. Our keynote speaker, Denella Clark, is President and CEO of Boston Arts Academy Foundation. She is recognized as a transformative and respected leader in diversity, philanthropy, faith, youth, and women's issues who prides herself on living a purposeful life. Ms. Clark will be speaking to us about the importance of taking care of ourselves while never giving up on progress. The City of Medford's Poet Laureate , Terry E. Carter will be attending to inspire us with his words. Marshunda Smith is a conductor, cellist, and teacher. She will be performing for our guests this year. Kirosha is a singer and songwriter who will be blessing us with her gift of song. This promises to be an event for us all to remember, reflect upon, and gain inspiration from for our journey forward. The NSJA Hats & Heels Tea is an inclusive event. We ask participants dress to impress in their most affirming way.
