Join us while we raise funds to help us continue to "unmask" child abuse in our community. The Victims Assistance Center provides services to all individuals in our community who are impacted by violence or crime through advocacy, education and emotional support. It is no secret the past two years have been difficult for everyone. Our agency is 96% grant funded and our budgets have been impacted immensely. All of our services are free of charge to the clients we serve and we are hopeful that we can continue this. Funds raised at this event will help support the Child Advocacy Center, a program of the Victims Assistance Center. The Child Advocacy Center provides a safe, neutral, and child friendly setting for victims of abuse and neglect to receive the services they need to heal from their trauma. Although our sincere hope was to be able to join together in person for this event, we understand that we are still in the midst of a pandemic. This year, we will be holding a drive-thru dinner catered by Worth Gold Farms to raise awareness & funds for the CAC while still honoring our local heroes. You will also be able to purchase Pinwheels to support our Pinwheels for Prevention campaign and wine/liquor pull tickets right here on Eventbrite. Purchase of a Wine/Liquor pull ticket will allow you to choose a numbered cork (if you bought a wine ticket) or a card from a deck of cards (if you bought a liquor ticket) and you'll win a bottle of wine or liquor with the corresponding number. Buy your tickets ahead so you can grab your bottle of wine/liquor right at the drive thru dinner! Each dinner includes: 1/2 Hickory Smoked BBQ Chicken, Salt Potatoes, Loaded Baked Beans, Coleslaw and Dessert by Edible Arrangements.
