We are looking to hire new movers as we head into our busy season. Experience is a plus but we are willing to train the right person. Hours are based upon the demands of the business. Essential Functions Identify, communicate, and resolve problems promptly. Attendance and punctuality must be consistent, as the schedule involves detailed planning that depends on employees being dependable and adhering to their scheduled shift to service the needs of customers. Prioritize customer and employee safety in all aspects, from proper moving technique and methods, to securing cargo. Occasionally perform various duties delegated by upper management, office or Leads, as the business requires that may be outside of regular moving duties. Load and unload furniture and related materials onto and off trucks, ensuring that proper padding and straps/tape are used to prevent damage of customer’s belongings and ANC’s vehicles and equipment. Maintain professional communication and relationships with all employees and management Interact courteously with customers and relay any customer concerns to the crew lead if necessary Ability to show initiative and to work with minimum supervision Follow policies and procedures to supporting ANC’s goals and values. Adapt to changes in the work environment to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events that naturally arise while performing duties. Follow company protocols for organization, proper care and storing of ANC moving equipment. Help with cleaning and maintaining vehicles, tools, and equipment. Frequent physical activities are lifting, carrying, handling, standing, walking, grasping, repetitive motions of hands/wrists, listening/hearing and talking. Must be able to lift seventy (70) pounds.
