Sis, Exhale! The conversation we all need, but no one is talking about….black women and mental health! Here’s the truth, black women are facing issues that we aren’t talking about. Mental health can be a taboo topic, but one that is necessary for us to live in our highest potential. This event will be like nothing you‘ve ever attended. We will create a safe space that will dive into mental health with a fully equipped panel ranging from doctors to community leaders, moderated by Kelly Doucet. This event will require vulnerability and transparency…. YIKES! We recognize that can be scary, but it is essential for our ability to show up and be our best selves. In order for us to dominate board rooms and change the world as black women, we must heal. Join us for this conversation! Lunch will be provided. The dress code is whatever makes you feel comfortable. No barriers, no judgement… just come sis! As a precaution, mask will be required upon entry. * As a purchaser of this ticket, you agree: (1) to assume and accept all risks arising out of, associated with or related to your participation in Sis, Exhale!, even though such risks may have been caused by the negligence of A Seat At The Table (ASAT); (2) to be solely responsible for any injury, loss or damage which you might sustain participating in Brunch, even though such injury, loss or damage may have been caused by the negligence of ASAT; (3) to hold harmless and indemnify ASAT and Hope Center Indy’s Freedom Barn (Properties) from any and all liability for any damage to the personal property of, or personal injury to, any third party resulting from your participation in Brunch; and (4) to hold harmless and indemnify ASAT and Properties, its organizers, associates, director, officers, employees, volunteers, and members from all claims, demands, actions and cost which might arise out of your participation in Sis, Exhale!, even though such claims, demands, actions and costs may have been caused by the negligence of ASAT and Properties. NOTICE OF FILMING AND PHOTOGRAPHY When you enter A Seat At the Table event or program, you enter an area where photography, audio, and video recording may occur. By entering the event premises, you consent to interview(s), photography, video recording and its/their release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction to be used for news, web casts, promotional purposes, telecasts, advertising, inclusion on websites, social media, or any other purpose by A Seat At The Table and its affiliates and representatives. Images, photos and/or videos may be used to promote similar A Seat At The Table events in the future, highlight the event and exhibit the capabilities of A Seat At The Table. You release A Seat At The Table, its officers and employees, and each and all persons involved from any liability connected with the taking, recording, digitizing, or publication and use of interviews, photographs, computer images, video and/or or sound recordings. By entering the event premises, you waive all rights you may have to any claims for payment or royalties in connection with any use, exhibition, streaming, web casting, televising, or other publication of these materials, regardless of the purpose or sponsoring of such use, exhibiting, broadcasting, web casting, or other publication irrespective of whether a fee for admission or sponsorship is charged. You also waive any right to inspect or approve any photo or video taken by A Seat At The Table or the person or entity designated to do so by A Seat At The Table. You have been fully informed of your consent, waiver of liability, and release before entering the event.
