Build Your own Table: Networking Event Building Our Own Table Network Event is proud to announce our Media Partner The Indianapolis Recorder. At 127-years-old, the Indianapolis Recorder Newspaper is one of the country's premier African-American newspapers. The Recorder covers various topics, including general news, health, education, sports, racial and economic equity, environment, and religion. The legendary Recorder and its sister publication, the Indiana Minority Business Magazine, have received numerous local and national awards for superior coverage. The Recorder today continues to hold that original vision in high regard. We communicate to increase awareness, educate and motivate the community, and preserve the community's knowledge of relevant issues. The Recorder, as with other Black newspapers around the country, is not only a voice in the community; we are also advocates for African Americans, all minorities, and the underserved This is an up and coming event to highlight Black Business in various areas of our community. We will begin with a speed networking session. Attendees will be given the opportunity to hear directly from successful Black Business owners in their respective fields. This first session will feature Timeko Whitaker Realtor/CEO of Timeko & Associates Realty Group LLC she is a dynamic speaker, Author and Business Mogul!
