The connections we establish today with our kids, will shape their tomorrow. We have to parent today with tomorrow in mind. Dads, moms, grandparents, aunts, uncles...anyone that has a hand in passing the baton to the next generation - this workshop is for you! This workshop will provide parents with truths regarding kids and the world they are navigating as well as equip them with tools and resources to help create connection, empathy and impact with their child. Participants will learn from experts in topics such as youth mental health, cell phones, social media, parenting in a hypersexualized culture, navigating through tough conversations, and grief and loss. Being a kid is tough and parenting kids today is tough. But when you understand what they are carrying and what is going on developmentally, it increases empathy and provides a space for true connection to happen. Join us on Saturday, August 23 at Crosspoint Church in Pearland, Texas from 8-2:30pm as we increase your tribe and fill your tool kit.
