Description
Join Queer Art Fest Inc. in partnership with New York's historic LGBT Center on March 25th for our first annual Fundraiser & Silent Auction. Hosted By: Dave Mizzoni Date & Time: Friday, March 25 - 6-9pm Location: The Center, Room 301, 208 W 13th St, New York NY Who We Are: Given that many Queer creatives experience cultural bias that can make it difficult to participate in mainstream art events, Queer Art Fest Inc. exists to create accessible points of entry into the art world. At a time of social media shadowbans, mounting barriers to the mainstream art market, and so few physical spaces to commune and exhibit work, Queer Art Fest Inc. recognizes that artists are intrinsic to Queer futurity and must be centered in their fullest expressions. In addition to our Flagship Summerfest & Winterfest events, we are working on additional programs for showcasing emerging Queer film makers - as well as pop up gallery shows, book launches and talent showcases. Ticket includes: Drinks provided by House Wine, Brooklyn Brewery and PerrierFlash portraits by Doable Guys & Tarot readings by Ben Watts.Entertainment by Robin Rose Quartz & Music by mSamuraiSilent Auction Items: Fine Art pieces by Cacho Falcon, David Haskell, Spencer Tunick & John Hanning2 x VIP Tickets to Gay Wine Weekend in Sonoma, CAPhluid Project Gift Basket Signed/Personalized copy of That Sounds So Good by Carla Lalli Music+ MoreVisit app.galabid.com/queerartfest to start bidding!
