Wright County Parks & Recreation Announces Seasonal Closing Date For Facilities In County Parks

Press release from the Wright County Government: September 25, 2020 Public restrooms in four Wright County parks are going to be closed for the season Sunday, Sept. 27. Those parks include Bertram Chain of Lakes Park, Beebe Lake Park, Clearwater/Pleasant Park and Otsego Park. The parks will remain open for residents to enjoy, but Parks & Rec wants them to be aware that the restrooms will not be available after this weekend. Campgrounds will be closing for the season the following week. The last night for camping in Collinwood and Schroeder Parks will be Saturday, Oct. 3. On Oct. 4, the Parks & Recreation Department will be closing the public bathrooms in both of those parks. Starting next spring, in addition to camping at Collinwood and Schroeder Parks, Bertram Park is also going to have campsites available. Construction of the campgrounds, camper cabins and a visitor center were expected to be completed in 2021, but thanks to a contractor able to do all the work during the 2020 construction season, Bertram Park Campground is expected to come on line in May 2021.
