An exclusive concert at a historic estate. Join the Friends of Willow Hall for a private reception followed by a delightful recital. Join us at historic Willow Hall for our 2021-2022 Friends of Willow Hall Recital Series! Start off with a light reception before the concert and enjoy an intimate recital in our 1848 historic home. Doors open at 2:15, concert starts promptly at 3:00. Celebrate the sounds of the season with Patricia Turse and enjoy beautiful Celtic harp! Patricia Turse is a harpist based out of Central New Jersey and has played with the Metropolitan Orchestra of NJ, the Society of Musical Arts, the South Orange Symphony, the Bergen Philharmonic, and more. Patricia is a board certified music therapist who believes in the power of music to heal. Currently her employment allows her to provide live music on the piano or harp for hospice patients, and lively musical entertainment for seniors at skilled nursing facilities. Patricia also holds certifications in NICU (neonatal) music therapy (2010) and harp therapy (2003). Patricia maintains a teaching studio for students to study piano and harp and has produced her own CD of inspirational song and harp accompaniment, "This Is My Father's World." The Friends or Willow Hall and the Passaic River Coalition (the FWH parent organization) are following state and local guidelines. As of right now, masks are required only for non-vaccinated visitors but encouraged for those who are fully-vaccinated. The event is limited to 25 individuals, and seating will be at our full-capacity. In the event of any changes to capacity limits, the concert may be moved outside (weather permitting). The reception will include pre-plated and sealed light food and drinks will be self-poured. Hand sanitizer and wipes will be available. Your registration information will be held for contact tracing for 2 month following the event. What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? Willow Hall does have limited parking available on site at 330 Speedwell Avenue. More parking is available at the Columbian Club/Red Oaks School adjacent to Willow Hall and accessible off Ames Place. What can I bring into the event? Willow Hall is a historic structure. Although we do not have period furnishings, we ask that you do not bring your own food or drink to our events. The light reception before the recital will include wine/beer/soft drinks and light snacks. *Please contact us if you have any food allergies at [email protected]* Will there be tickets available at the door? Should there be tickets available at the end of ticket sales, we will be selling those at the door starting 30 minutes before the recital. Unfortunately we are limited with space and can only offer 25 tickets for the entire event. We cannot promise that tickets will be available at the door. We can only accept cash for tickets sold at the door. What's the refund policy? Friends of Willow Hall and the Passaic River Coalition is a non-profit, volunteer run organization and we apologize but we cannot offer refunds on tickets purchased through Eventbrite. Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? We will have a list of ticketholders prior to the event but we do ask that you bring your printed ticket to make processing as easy as possible.
