Happy-Go-Lucky is a 9-month-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel mix who weighs around 20 lbs. He received his name because from the moment our rescue team met him, all they could say was, "he's such a happy go lucky dude!" Happy-Go-Lucky (Happy) starts his day just the same as his name. He emerges from his crate and is very happy to see us. Happy is not a big barker. He is very food motivated. Happy is a great walking partner. He comes right up to me and sits, ready for his leash and a treat. He’s a great hiking partner and doesn’t need to stop and sniff everything in sight. He walks really well side by side with my other dog. He’s definitely a social dog! He loves to say hi to people and sniff other dogs. He can be playful and fun, but also mellow. He was shy when we brought him home but warmed up quickly and loves to run around the house playing with our 13 lb maltipoo.
