I love playing deep groves with the ability to play strong countermelodies if it’s appropriate. I’ve had tons of experience performing most musical styles/genres. I earned my chops on bandstands of all sizes from small clubs to large concerts. I can bring solid backup and lead vocals if needed. I’ve had tons of experience as a band leader or co-leader of some pretty successful bands, but I’m just as happy to play bass, maybe sing a few, and leave the leadership to somebody else. I’ve got first rate gear, and if it’s helpful I’ve got good PA, portable lighting, and a very nice place to rehearse (not a home or garage). I’m happiest doing live gigs, but I’m fine with balancing that with recording. I know thousands of covers in rock, r&b, funk, soul, country, americana, and pop as well as acoustic and electric jazz, jazz fusion, afro-latin, and world music.
