Join David Janas, veteran horticulturist, as he shares his expertise growing and caring for cactus and succulents
Have you ever wanted to grow cactus and succulents but weren't sure how? Join David Janas, a.k.a. the Plant Doctor, as he shares his expertise growing and caring for these popular plants.
Janas, a veteran horticulturalist, has grown succulents in one form or another for most of his life, including professionally in three different botanic gardens. Most recently he was the horticulturist in charge of the desert collection at the Missouri Botanic Garden.
During this discussion, Janas will explain what cactus and succulents are, as well as where these plants come from and why this makes so many of them good candidates for life on a windowsill. He will cover tried and true growing techniques, with hands-on demonstrations, for a variety of situations that will help you develop a better understanding for these beautiful and personable plants.
