Not Your Masi's Generation is a multidisciplinary interactive solo exhibition that explores the East African Gujarati diaspora and the impact of the 1972 exile on future generations. The exhibition will run for a week.
This is an immersive experience where some pieces will have audio elements to it. There will also be access to listen to various components through your phone via QR codes. Please bring your own audio devices with headphones for your comfort. For those needing access, there will be limited supply of headphones with 3.5mm jacks for donation or $1 purchase.
April 7th join us for the opening reception on my birthday, for a night to remember with homemade Gujarati food, a live DJ, and community solidarity.
Doors will open at 530pm and run until 10pm. More info soon to come!
April 8th there will be a community portrait event, where the public can bring their best selves and get a professional portrait taken in the same style as many traditional portraits displayed in Desi homes. More info soon to come!

April 9th will host a showcase of South Asian youth Poets as they make sense of the world around them through poetry. More info soon to come!
