Empowerment Resource Center will host its eleventh annual Hats Off to Women event on Thursday, March 10, 2022 to heighten the awareness of the HIV Epidemic among Women and Girls. In observance of National Women & Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day (March 10), ERC will host a two-hour in person event “Sexual and Mental Wellness-End Stigma” with a presentation, panel discussion, and dinner. The Hats Off to Women event to be held at the Loudermilk Ballroom, located at 40 Courtland Ave., Atlanta, GA, 6pm -8pm, features an intimate panel discussion lead by fearless and positive women living with HIV and AIDS. The panelist will share their individual processes of identifying and reinforcing personal strengths that enabled them to appreciate their own self-efficacy, manage, and maintain long-term medical treatment goals, in spite of overwhelming stigma and denigration. Dinner to be served during the event. Ladies wear your hat to show support!
