We are looking for someone who is not already in another band or multiple bands. We jam once a week and are looking for someone who can play anything from blues through fusion. We play songs by bands like the Stones, the Beatles, Kinks, Who, Led Zep, Hendrix, Bad Company, BB King, Elton John, Jethro Tull, etc. We also have originals and come up with new tunes all the time. Give me a call to discuss the music and see if we might be compatible. If so, we can set up a night to jam and see how it sounds. Thanks and good luck in your search. Songwriter looking to form a blues band. Ideal lineup would be bass, drums, and keys and or harmonica. would like to form a duo with a harp player as well. Been playing blues for 12 years. Had a couple of blues trios together and we did local gigs. My repertoire is varied. Traditional, modern, fingerpicking (acoustic) open tuning slide and a few originals. Serious musicians only. Have all my equipment and transportation and rehearsal space. Have a dedicated practice facility. Easy going fun group. This is very niche and so most people will not like this at all. We try to go back to some of the roots of rock and therefor will appeal to a larger audience. Here's a couple jams to check out. Don't judge us strictly by these though and give us a try in person. They in no way tell the complete story. Let us know if you want to give it a shot and we'll send a couple more jams for us to all jam on together in person...However the words did slightly change through the decades along with the way it was strummed acoustically. But it was always known that the song could lean towards a more heavier hard rock type feel instead of a lighter southern rock texture which Greg was listening to when the song began to grow. While recording almost 30 years later, Greg was leaning more towards a cutting edge version of the song with more powerful intensity, but his 2nd cousin steered him towards that traditional classic southern rock style with a twangy guitar lead using country flavored bends when Greg nailed Been playing Pedal Steel for a bit now and looking to play with anyone looking to add pedal to their sound. Prefer singer-songwriters (John Moreland, Ben Nichols, Tyler Childers, Chuck Ragan, etc.) and bands in the vein of American Aquarium, Lucero, Jason Isbell, and such as well… I am by no means Nashville ready or soloing all over the place. Background and some melodies is my speed. Happy to sit in and see if it works or just lay some stuff down on a recording. Thanks!
