Sun Salutations and Sounds, a free community mindfulness retreat, will take place on Sunday, March 20 at the grassy knoll at Farmers Park.
Each participant will be invited to partake in a community yoga class with guided music. Then plant sweet grass seeds and intentions to refresh with the newness of spring and the beauty it brings. The serene session will conclude with a mindfulness meditation and healing sounds.
This event is FREE!
Registration is required as space is limited. Please bring a mat, water, a towel and proof of registration. Wear comfortable clothing and sun screen.
If under 18, please be accompanied by an adult. Farmers Park is not shaded.
Masks are not required while outdoors. If planning on entering the Packing District indoor facilities before or after class, please bring a mask.
Guests who haven't arrived by 11am, may potentially lose their reserved spot.
The active portion of the event is 2 hours, and guests are encouraged to participate for the entire duration.

10:30am Welcome Vibes – Live DJ: Crisanto Santa Ana
Check in and start setting up mats
11am-12pm – Yoga with Courtney Short featuring frequencies by Crisanto Santa Ana
Esteemed yogi, Courtney Short, will lead attendees in a group yoga session with an intention to let go of the harsh winter to make way for new intentions that spring brings
12pm-1pm – Sound Healing Meditation and Planting Seeds with Community Consciousness
Guests will then be guided in a group meditation and plant seeds into tiny pots and mindfully fill them with their loving intentions
