Are you a self-starter who likes to work with your hands and enjoys steady work? We are looking for someone to come on board as the Elks Tower Handyman/Woman. This building is 14 stories, and located in Downtown Sacramento. It currently is used as office space, and to host a wide variety of events. This position is swing shift/graveyard, with flexibility. Must have at least 5 years experience with: Painting Metal Stud Framing Drywall Smooth Face Texture Basic Electrical Experience Tee-Bar Ceiling Demolition Basic Carpentry Tile Work Before applying, you must have: Reliable Transportation Basic tools and personal protection equipment Speak fluent English - Spanish speaking a plus but not required. We are looking for someone who wants a long term commitment, not temporary or seasonal. The Elks Tower is a historical landmark in Sacramento, and we are looking for someone who can come in and get to know the building, and take care of it with pride. The right candidate will be reliable, professional, and have excellent communication skills. Hourly rate commensurates with skills and experience.
