Warehouse / Inventory Handler Duties Required - Grasp a thorough understanding of Shop / Van inventory - Maintain shop organization and cleanliness - Closely monitor Van’s stock quantities through Van Stock Spreadsheets - Closely review what material is and isn’t being used off of vans • Report this material to manager • Update Van inventory sheets as requested - Communicate closely with all vendors • Edges, Platt, Hi-line, CED, etc. • Doing so will build your own relationship with said Vendors - Closely track, and input price changes on the inventory Data sheet • Report said price changes monthly through chart - Audit the stock in the shop quarterly, (January, April, July, October) - Track all tools in / out of the shop • Report all damaged tools, or missing parts as tools are issued / returned - Quality control on all outgoing material - Track Van Maintenance requirement • Servicing and tire changes • Schedule servicing with dispatcher. - Closely watch usage of material in job packets • File all used material accordingly
