Academy Veterinary Hospital is looking for someone to join our team to help with cleaning of our clinic. The right candidate enjoys cleaning and is self-motivated and understands the importance of maintaining cleanliness of clinic. We are willing to train you, looking for someone who is hardworking and ready to become a part of a small team and help us be productive, by maintaining a clean workspace. Cleaning/Veterinary Assistant. Pay$15 hr. Education: High school diploma Hours Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, 2-5:30 End time depending on when you are finished cleaning, not necessarily a set time. Qualifications: Must be able to handle working around bodily fluids of animals. We regularly work with blood, urine, feces, pus, and other bodily fluids. Having prior knowledge of how to clean surgical instruments as well as wrap surgery packs is preferred but not required. Dependable Detail-oriented Ability to work well with a team Ability to follow instructions Maintain a positive attitude Must be comfortable around animals Job duties: Clean facility areas, exam rooms, surgical room, kennels, lobby, restrooms (dusting, vacuuming, mopping, wiping down with disinfectant.) Laundry Cleaning, wrapping surgical packs, and sterilizing them Restocking exam rooms according to a check list Other small projects such as printing client education and putting it together in a client education pack.
