About the Author: Sherrika Myers In today's society, people are judged by the way they speak, and young people who stutter often face daily ridicule, teasing, and bullying. Since a very young age, Sherrika Myers has lived with the physical, social, and emotional impact of stuttering. After avoiding speaking for a majority of her early adult life due to a debilitating stutter, Sherrika took back control of her life and uncovered ground-breaking insights for personal transformation that turned her obstacle into triumphs. As an internationally recognized keynote speaker, published author, certified life coach, creator of Lil Herbie (anti-bullying mascot) and founder of Every 1 Voice Matters, Sherrika's overarching belief is that spreading awareness and education is the cornerstone for meaningful change in our world. Advocating for children regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, disability or religion is her lifelong mission and Sherrika is always finding new and creative ways to make an impact and be able to reach more children. She has developed engaging programs such as the Lil Herbie Animated Series Word of the Day, C.L.A.S.S. (Core Life Academic & Social Skills) Lil Herbie engagement activities as well as an inspiring children’s book series.
