Come watch a screening of Havana Libre before the film premieres. In partnership with Surfrider Los Angeles.
Come join Patagonia + Surfrider LA as we host our first event in our new space!
We'll
be screening “Havana Libre,” a film that follows a group of Cubans as they rise from cultural prohibitions and demand legitimacy for their beloved sport of surfing.
We
will not be checking for vaccination, but kindly ask that you wear a mask.
Your
$10 ticket will get you into the event and include small bites, drinks provided by Firestone and Guayaki, live music, a Q + A panel with the filmmakers, and a ticket to be automatically entered into an opportunity drawing for Patagonia swag.
Importantly,
we will also be collecting donations of surf gear to send to the surfers in Cuba starting at the event through March 24th. We are collecting
the following list of items. Please note that we only are able to collect supplies in good to excellent condition to ensure that contributions last a long time on the island. These are items that you may have outgrown or no longer use but still have lots of
life in them. Please wash all clothing and wetsuits before donating - all sizes accepted. Thank you!
