A vacation camp where kids have the potential to build robots, design games, learn 3D design, and more. April School Vacation is approaching, enroll with Guild Hall for a STEAM education camp! Join us in person for camps in coding and engineering for ages 8-12 and 12-16. We have a camp in coding from 9-12 and engineering camp from 12:30 to 3:30, you can sign up for either camp or both! In this camp students will focus on learning the basics of programming and program flow making games in Ready Maker and Circuit Playground Express! Each student will have the opportunity to experience what it’s like to design a game concept from scratch, plan the various parts that all come together to make up their project and execute on their design, making a unique, fun, and playable game that they can share with their friends! Youth Engineering Camp Save the day with your engineering skills! In this challenge based maker camp students will have the opportunity to use the materials, tools, and their imagination to help solve problems, build amazing contraptions and rescue our hero from all sorts of trouble he gets into doing hero stuff.Kids will learn the functional design process to design, prototype, test, and iterate on their inventions while a compelling story line helps keep their ideas grounded in empathetic engineering. Students will have the chance to learn how to use a variety of tools and circuitry to help bring their ideas to life including 3D Printers, Circuit Playground circuits, javascript coding language, traditional and modern woodworking and crafting tools, and more! Teen Coding Camp Learn game programming with Unity 3D! In this camp students will focus on learning the basics of programming and game design using the industry standard software Unity 3D. Students will have the opportunity to work with the C# programming language, Blender Animation studio, Unity, and our collection of game characters, music, and scenes to create a truly unique, playable, and fun game that they can share with their friends! Teen Engineering Camp Build powerful robots, addictive games, beautiful works of craftsmanship, and more in this Engineering camp crafted to give your young engineer a taste of the trade. In this challenge based maker camp students will be exposed to the latest technology for circuitry and design/engineering concepts using our engineering and electronics lab while also learning how to polish what they make into usable and beautifully crafted projects using modern and traditional tools and techniques in our maker shop.Students will be introduced to everything from arduino based circuitry, C++ coding language, professional woodworking and crafting tools, 3D printers, CNC cutters, and more!
