In a modern music landscape defined by the regurgitation and re-appropriation of stale sounds, Dalek One's innovative production is an aspiring reminder that genuine art is the soul of the scene. The young artist brings the same energy to the stage: his live sets are just as captivating as his original productions. Rather than a :DJ/producer", Dalek One is both a DJ and a producer. When he's behind the decks, he plays for the dance floor instead of simply pushing his own tunes. He's excited to dish out bangers from fellow Denver producers, and his energy is contagious. As a tastemaker in the bass music community, she provides a spiritual identity marked by dark tonalities and dangerously delicious bass lines. Her mission is to unify humanity through transcending melodies of passion and healing sounds. Zen's original work pulls inspiration from world music and deep dubstep. She fuses organic and sacred frequencies devised to awaken and rejuvenate the mind, soul, and body. With ambition to heal others and inspire change, she manifests her intentions into audible soundscapes. Zen has taken her live performance all over the globe, embodying her calling as a Selekta. Khan Kuma https://soundcloud.com/khankuma Drew Owusu aka Khan Kuma is Pittsburgh born and bred. Captivated by sound system culture from an early age, it was inevitable that he would eventually pursue contribution from a creative perspective. Bass driven music has been a part of his life through his family’s Ghanaian roots. He was raised around live music and was introduced to the sounds of the Dub, Reggae and Roots genres early on and it stuck with him. Drew developed a natural draw to electronic genres that were birthed from the sounds within black culture. Capturing those elements within the dubstep genre is what drives him and keeps him rooted. After spending years following his favorite artists across the US and throwing shows of his own, Drew began his journey as Khan Kuma in 2020. Inspired by heavyweight Dubstep DJ’s such as Joe Nice, Coki, Mala, Caspa, Rusko, Truth, Ternion Sound, Deep Tempo, Sicaria Sound, and many others, Khan Kuma aims to pave his own way with weighty track selections containing hefty low end that takes you on a journey. Through his mixing and upcoming productions, Khan Kuma looks to connect with crowds, sound systems, artists and other entities within the scene and tell a story of empowerment with reminders of the global roots of bass music culture.
