I am looking for a special person to help part-time to care for my elderly mother who just had foot surgery and needs to stay off her foot. My Mother has no memory or cognitive issues, but she has mobility issues and some visual impairment so we are looking for a companion who will also be able to do light housework.  Specifically the job involves: Sit with Mom - Visit, tell stories - Watch TV/movies - Crafts (I'll provide craft and material) - Help her make phone calls to friends/family Light Housework - Vacuum/Swiffer floors in living room, dining room and Mom's rooms - Clean her bathroom - Laundry - Dust - Make Mom's bed She also has a small, very old dog that has accidents, so there would be some clean-up of his messes We do have large/small dogs and cats, so the ideal candidate should not be afraid of, or allergic to, animals. We are looking for someone reliable and responsible with good communication skills who speaks English. We live in Glendora. I am currently working from home and am in my home office for much of the day, that is why we are looking for help. The position pays $15/hour for 10 hours a week.
