Refresh your closet for spring, save money & shop sustainably! The Cherry Pit invites you to join us at the McCarthy Mercantile on Sunday, March 27th from 12 - 2 pm for our fifth clothing swap event! It's that time of year! Spring clean your closet for gently used clothing, shoes, and accessories. It helps to think about how many times you wore the piece last year, and realistically how much you'll wear it this year. 100% of proceeds go to The Vera House, a Syracuse non-profit that helps domestic abuse survivors. For more info and to donate directly, go to https://www.verahouse.org/ Donate what you wish at check in (cash preferred) Guidelines: Look for spring/winter transition pieces: light sweaters /jackets, long dresses/skirts, floral or pastel tops and pants, and anything else you'd wear in March/April :)Nothing damaged, no stains or holes5-10 items recommended Bring quality over quantity Pieces can be modern or vintage, as long as it's wearable!This is a 1 to 1 swap, so you are allowed to take as much as you bring. (ex. if you bring 8 pieces, you will be given a ticket for 8 items to leave with.
