The Masquerade Ball will be an extravagant event, setting the scene and lighting the night with an elegant ambiance like no other! The Masquerade Ball will be an eventful evening in which students will come in their most elegant formal wear. With the masquerade theme, students will be required to wear formal clothing as well as a mask. The event will take place in a gala-like setting while hosting the Miss Junior Pageant, where we will shine a light on the many talents of various students in the junior class at Spelman College. Along with this pageant, there will be various parts of the program, captivating the audience. From poetic dialect to the simplistic strolls of the freshman dorms, the program will be sure to provide a unique ambiance, while also captivating the sense of masquerade and suspense. Throughout this program, there will various times of intermission, in which attendees will converse over small hors d'oeuvres. While the occasion will provide an opportunity for pageantry and social gathering, the main purpose of this event is to provide a new aesthetic for a historic night.
