Parakeet in need of a new home and cage-mate

Emerald is a 4-year-old, male, green and yellow parakeet. His cage-mate died in December, and I do not have the time needed to work with him in order to make up for the lack of social interaction. He has been given a clean bill of health by a vet and has had his wings trimmed within the past few months. While not hand-trained, he has a very mild temperament and would be easy to work with for anyone who has the time. Overall is a good cage-mate for other birds. Some of the items he comes with are as follows: • A cage (recommended for a maximum of 3 small birds): water & food bowls, swing, perches, cage cover and cage net included • A carrier cage: water & food bowls, swing, and cage cover included • A small playground set • A varied assortment of toys, perches, food bowls, etc. (not shown) I will be charging a rehoming fee to both make sure that he finds a good home and to recoup a fraction of the cost of the equipment I have accumulated over the years. If you do not already have a bird to socialize him with I am requesting that the primary owner be someone who has the time and motivation to work with him better than I could in order to improve his quality of life.
