It's been an exciting couple of weeks for the Waukee Silver Cord Program. Volunteer non-profit organizations from across central Iowa spent time at Waukee High School and Waukee Northwest High School meeting with prospective Silver Cord students. It's an opportunity for local organizations to connect with interested students about volunteer opportunities in the future. There are approximately 1,010 students currently participating in the Waukee Silver Cord Program.
