Residents can donate blood at any of Blood Assurance's six locations in Middle Tennessee — including its Franklin location — but will meet NewsChannel 5 reporters at the Hermitage location. (News Channel 5)Franklin Police are still searching for a local liquor store shoplifter who has stolen from Westside Wine and Spirits on Front Street at least twice as of Feb. 23. An employee reportedly followed the suspect outside to confront him during the second in-progress theft, but the suspect physically assaulted and dragged the employee with his car, allegedly threatening to run him over. Police are offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 to anyone who can identify the suspect shown in this surveillance video.
