ANDERSON, SC — Authorities still have no knowledge of the whereabouts of a mother of two from Anderson who has been missing for over a month.
Alexis Ware, 29, dropped her kids off with the youngest's father on Jan. 30 and was last seen at the 7-Eleven gas station on Highway 29 in Anderson, according to authorities.
Her car was found in McCormick County on Feb. 2, but police have been unable to find her since.
Authorities have been following every tip, even one from a psychic, McCormick County Sheriff Clarke Stearns told WYFF News 4.
A comprehensive search of the area Ware's car was found produced no additional evidence, Stearns told the TV station.
Ware's family is worried and said it was unlike her to go more than a couple days without seeing her kids or talking to family, according to a report from NBC News.
The day before her disappearance, Ware talked of being followed and "felt something was going to happen," Alberta Gray-Simpkins, Ware's stepmother, told NBC News.
Gray-Simpkins checked in with Ware on FaceTime at approximately 3 p.m. the day of her disappearance. She received a call from the youngest child's father at around 7:30 p.m. after Ware dropped the kids off and knew something was wrong, according to the report.
