We are currently hiring for the following two positions: 1. Audio Visual Installation Technician: $24 - $27 per hour based on experience. Installation of sound and video systems to include: Mounting and flying loudspeakers. Cabling through old and new construction, attics, basement, interior and exterior walls. Proficient soldering and cable termination skills. Proficiency with hand tools and fabrication of metal/ wood to suit certain situations a bonus. Tuning of audio and setup of live video streaming and surveillance systems. Ladder, scaffolding and lift experience along with comfort at altitude necessary. 2. Low Voltage Cabling Labor: $22 to $25 per hour, based on experience Both positions will require you to: - Run various types of low voltage wiring in existing structures, including but not limited to RG6, Cat6, etc.- Use ladders, scaffolding & sometimes lifts- Snake wire through attics, basements and other tight spots- Terminate cables- Run Wiremold- Be able to lift 60 pounds- Have a clean driving record- Drive company work vans to and from job sites- Have basic knowledge of tools- Be a team player with a continual desire to grow and learn- Complete daily completed work orders- (Once fully trained) be in rotation as a weekend on-call technician - Jobs are all across New England- Occasional overnight jobs ($75 per diem, hotel and evening meal expenses paid)- Work 40 hrs per week with the opportunity for more Starting pay based on experience.Experience in AV Installation is ideal.The following would be beneficial: Organizational skills, experience with maintaining stock and inventory, experience with remote troubleshooting, experience with network systems. - Performance / wage review after 3 months- 401k after 6 months- Opportunity for education and certification in the Audio / Visual industry
