PHILADELPHIA — The Philadelphia POPS is hosting a special concert this weekend celebrating The Beatles legendary final performance that has gotten new legs thanks to the docuseries "Get Back."
But it won't be the POPS playing the show.
At 1 p.m. Saturday, Philly duo Echo Kid will perform the entire set the Fab Four played on top of London's Apple Corps headquarters back in 1969 at the Independence Visitor Center.
The show will take place on the South Terrace at the Independence Visitor Center.
Echo Kid will play, "Get Back," "Don't Let Me Down," "I've Got a Feeling," "One After 909," and "Dig a Pony."
After playing the classic tracks, Echo Kid will perform a selection of The Beatles greatest hits for a dance party.
The show is free to attend.
This free performance will serve as a launching point for the Philadelphia POPS upcoming POPS Rocks Let it Be series.
The focus is on The Beatles' latter day repertoire as interpreted by the full orchestra.
The series will run from March 11 through March 13 at Verizon Hall at the Kimmel Cultural Campus.
Saturday's event will also give attendees a chance to win two tickets to POPS Rocks Let it Be on Friday, March 11 through a raffle.
Light refreshments will be served during Echo Kid's performance.
