GURNEE, IL — A 62-year-old Waukegan woman was seriously injured in a head-on collision in Gurnee Sunday afternoon. Police said two other people, a 34-year-old woman and 37-year-old man, both from Round Lake, were also injured in the two-vehicle collision that happened in the area of Washington and Greenleaf streets at 1:40 p.m., the Daily Herald is reporting. The collision occurred when a 2019 black Dodge Durango, driven by the Waukegan woman, made a left turn onto Greenleaf and was hit by a 2008 Chevrolet HHR, which was eastbound on Washington, according to the article.
