UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — Police released information and photos Tuesday afternoon of a suspect wanted for robbing a man on the 2 train near the 72nd Street subway station. Around 4:20 a.m. on Sunday, a 40-year-old man was sitting on a southbound 2 train near West 72nd Street when another man approached him and stole about $500 worth of electronics from him, police said Tuesday. The robber then ran off the train at the next stop, police added. NYPD did not specify what the electronics were. The man who was robbed refused medical attention at the scene. There have been no arrests. The robbery comes a few weeks after a woman was punched in the face and robbed on a northbound 3 train at the 72nd Street station on Feb. 7.
