WOBURN, MA — Woburn Pop Warner President Richard Tarby has been named Assistant Coach of the Year by the Massachusetts High School Football Coaches Association, Woburn Pop Warner said. Tarby was named one of the ten Assistant Coaches of the Year for his work as a coach for Stoneham High School, but he also is president of Woburn Pop Warner Football and Cheer. He is not affiliated with the Woburn High School team. Tarby will be honored at an April 24 banquet alongside other Massachusetts High School Football Coaches Association awardees.
