The City of St. Louis Park is hosting a groundbreaking for the Dakota-Edgewood trail bridge Monday, Oct. 19, at 5:30 p.m. The groundbreaking will take place at the northwest corner of Dakota Park, 2643 Dakota Ave. S., near the North Cedar Lake Regional Trail.
Directions: Attendees are encouraged to walk or bike to the groundbreaking. If you drive, park in the Peter Hobart Elementary School parking lot, 6500 W. 26th St., and follow the path on the west side of the ballfield to reach the groundbreaking. If you need special accommodation to reach the groundbreaking site, call the city engineering department at 952.924.2656.
This is an outdoor event. Dress for the weather. Attendees are asked to physically distance and to be prepared by bringing a face covering in case physical distancing isn't possible. If you are feeling ill, please do not attend.
In conjunction with the Dakota-Edgewood bikeway, this project is designed to bring a north-south pedestrian and bike connections to the center of the city. Learn more about the project.
