Warehouse/Delivery Crewperson Fireplace Superstore needs 2 new members for our warehouse and delivery team, we are hiring both a full time and part time position. This position will entail working in our warehouses as well as delivering outdoor furniture and related merchandise to customer’s homes. Warehouse work will involve receiving merchandise, storage of merchandise, and assembly for display and/or delivery of merchandise. Crew members will need to be able to operate our forklifts (we will train on operations) and be able to manually lift at least 70 pounds to accomplish the job requirements. In addition to warehouse work, these crew members will be part of a 2 person delivery team which will deliver to our customers in the central Iowa area. Our delivery crews drive high cube style vans, which do not require a CDL but do need someone comfortable with driving large vehicles. Crew members must be personable and interact with our customers in a professional and friendly manner. We will train on product assembly and identification as well as fork lift operation, you need a good work ethic and a positive attitude with a willingness to learn. We are a 40 year old, well established company with great reputation. Year round work with excellent pay and benefits. Must have a valid Iowa drivers’ license and a good driving record with no current SR22, this is non-negotiable, if you can’t drive our trucks we can’t use you. Starting pay $16.00 to $19.00 per hour, based on starting skills and experience for either full or part time position.
